Unfortunately this piece has to be cut into tracks so it’s an awkward entrance, but this segment is so mindblowing…and those rhythms in the opening bars—I’ve known good orchestras who literally had to spend days getting those right! But the most amazing thing is the 7ths and their offbeat placement…tearing the American Dream and its folk song to shreds. Aaron, you are God. Conducted by Lenny and the NYPO (who the fuck else). PS This whole piece is my birth place.
